Where MasterRemit came from

It all started with brothers Nuradin and Hashim Omar, who migrated to Australia as children in 1993.

In 2016, Nuradin Omar's experience as a migrant profoundly influenced his mission to empower the unbanked. Witnessing his family's struggles to send money to loved ones in urgent need due to limited financial options inspired him to take action.

His vision is to provide a "fair go" to the estimated 2 billion unbanked individuals worldwide, especially in developing countries, who face barriers to essential financial services.

Along with his brother Hashim, Nuradin co-founded MasterRemit to create an ecosystem for low-cost, accessible money transfers anytime and anywhere. By connecting unbanked individuals to a broader financial system, MasterRemit has been helping the loved ones to receive funds instantly.
