MasterRemit was founded with the vision of connecting unbanked individuals to the wider world through a unified financial ecosystem.
Our mission is backed by venture capital investors ICM Limited, Scalare Partners, and KK39 Ltd, who share our vision of financial inclusion.
By enabling customers to receive payments instantly on their mobile phones or via collection at a designated pickup point, we bridge the gap in financial access.
No one should be deprived of essential services due to lack of access. Today, we empower millions to support their loved ones seamlessly across borders.
In 2016, Nuradin Omar's experience as a migrant profoundly influenced his mission to empower the unbanked. Witnessing his family's struggles to send money to loved ones in urgent need due to limited financial options inspired him to take action.
His vision is to provide a "fair go" to the estimated 2 billion unbanked individuals worldwide, especially in developing countries, who face barriers to essential financial services.
Along with his brother Hashim, Nuradin co-founded MasterRemit to create an ecosystem for low-cost, accessible money transfers anytime and anywhere. By connecting unbanked individuals to a broader financial system, MasterRemit has been helping the loved ones to receive funds instantly.
